Recently purchased the Raz Mobility phone and charging station for my 86 year old mother. She has very poor vision because of macular degeneration. This phone is amazing. I have it set up for poor vision mode. She can use the phone easily. The charging station is great because she doesn’t have to try to plug in a charging cord. She lays the phone on the station and it tells her the phone is charging when it is in the correct place. My favorite feature is the ability to limit calls and texts coming into her phone to only those people in her contact list. She no longer gets unsolicited calls and texts from businesses and potential scammers. The phone is super easy to set up and the care giver app is easy to use as well. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because she complains it will call someone while she is on a call with someone else. I suspect user error, but I haven’t figured it out yet. Over all I think the product and the service is great

Eazy Peezy–just take it out of the box, hook it up and you’re good to go! Lay the back of the RAZ phone on the pad within the outlined area and a voice responds with “Phone Charging” along with a written message on the phone face. For someone with some memory loss, the hardest part is training them to place the phone back on the pad, not the face.

Thank you for your feedback! The RAZ Memory Cell Phone has a large, long-lasting battery, so it can take longer for it to charge. It’s important to make sure the phone is in the right position on the Pad, without leaning on the edges of the charger. Otherwise, the phone can connect and disconnect intermittently, making the charging process longer than usual.

The charging pad requires the phone to be placed in it very precisely for it to connect and take a charge, which proved a bit difficult for my mother. A standard magnetic charger worked better, as the precision of placement was not as critical and this was easier and more familiar for my mom.

Yes, the RAZ Memory Cell Phone comes with a regular wall charger, whose Type-C USB cable can be plugged into a car’s USB port.

It is so much easier for my friend to just place her phone on the pad to charge it. However, occasionally it doesn’t start charging unless you move it around slightly. She has low vision so she can’t tell that it’s not charging but my app on my phone notifies me if the battery is getting low.

The Wireless Charger is designed in a way that the senior can simply place the phone on the large pad to start charging. However, it’s still necessary to position the phone within the edges of the charger. Otherwise the phone can take longer to charge, connecting and disconnecting from the charger intermittently.
