The stand up charger works well, even when the phone is not set in exactly right. I like that my MIL can see the faces on her phone from her chair. The only problem so far is that she unplugs the charger from the wall and puts it in the drawer, sigh. Not the chargers fault, I know.

The lip on the charger is too small. The phone with the wireless adapter and a case on it is extremely unstable on the charger and it is very difficult for my mom to place the phone. Ended up swapping it with a flat charger and this one is unused. Seems like it would be obvious to need a more stable option for working with elderly.

On its own, the stand may work ok. With the rugged protective case installed it was hard for me to get the phone to balance and charge on it, much less my mom with Alzheimer’s. She wasn’t able to charge her phone until I just took the stand away and let her plug in the phone. If your person has never used a charging stand, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this one.

Works best when the phone is applied to the charger horizontally because we have a lanyard attached at the base. If I had to do it again, I would get the charging pad instead.

We went with this version instead of the flat charger since this looked more like our loved ones’ landline cordless phones. I am with the previous reviewer that said the ledge isn’t big enough for someone with dexterity issues. Disagree with the response saying the issue had been fixed. Something that the phone sits or settles in (versus barely sitting on) would be so much better. Really kind of shocked at the design based on the customers these are meant for.

Thank you very much for your feedback! We understand your concern. In cases like this, some seniors adapt better to the Wireless Charging Pad, which has a larger surface area.
If the stand ledge were larger, the chances of the phone not charging correctly could also be higher, since it would be easier to place it incorrectly.

The charger is very hard for my mother in law to get seated properly. I saw from previous reviews that you are working on this issue. Please let us know if you have a fix for this. I disabled the phone charging message which was going off very frequently due to the phone placement. The phone itself is working great and she is adapting very well to all the functions.

Worked perfectly when I tested it in my home. However, my father (low vision) has trouble getting the phone settled onto the charger properly. The phone continually announces “phone charging” and it requires quite a bit of adjustment to get that to stop. I’m wondering if a deeper “ledge” for the phone to sit on would help.

Love to have the phone upright so it can always be seen from various locations in the room. My mom thinks it has to stay on the charger at all times so when she is talking on the phone, the sound can be muffled. The ledge it rests on is pretty narrow for old hands to get it just right to keep it from falling off. Otherwise, I’m glad we chose this charging option vs using the flat charger.
