Sesame

The Sesame solution works by tracking the user’s head movements using the built-in, front-facing camera on the smartphone. Other than the device, no hardware is required.

All features of the device can be operated that users would normally operate using one finger on screen. Touch, swipe, browse, play, download, and more – it’s all possible using the Sesame smartphone.

Voice control is integrated to provide a truly hands-free experience for accessing the device. To turn the phone on users just need to say, “Open Sesame” and it will wake up and start tracking the user’s head.

Touch-Free Control

Gesture recognition understands small head movements, eliminating the need for touch.

Integrated Voice Control

Users can use their voice to turn on/off the phone or switch between applications.

Download Apps

Touch-free interface extends to nearly any app from the Google Play store.

Works Out of the Box

Works immediately touch-free, no additional set-up required.

Lightweight Mobile Design

The Sesame solution uses Google’s Nexus 5X smartphone.

TEPP PROGRAM INFO

The Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP) helps people with disabilities buy specialized equipment they need in order to use basic telephone services.

To apply for a TEPP voucher on-line, use our revised on-line application below. If you are unable to use the on-line application, you can print the application form provided in pdf format and mail to the address on the form.

Voucher Application

It generally takes 3 to 4 weeks to receive your voucher. It will take longer to receive your voucher if you apply for TAP to cover the copay. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received and vouchers are issued on a first come, first served basis. Use the on-line application instead of mailing or faxing applications for a quicker turnaround time for voucher processing.

Contact the TEPP Administrator at TEPP@Solixinc.com if you have problems with the on-line application.
