So far so good! Bought this for my 89 year old Mother with early signs of dementia and memory loss. This phone has been a game changer. She doesn’t get unwanted spam calls, texts, or voicemails. She can’t accidentally call people and then hang up all hours of the day and night. I love that I can remind her to charge her phone and also send her instant notifications that she can’t miss!! I love that there are no buttons to push and no links to tap and nothing to accidentally delete. She says she is still trying to figure it all out but that’s only because it’s so simple. The charging pad is a godsend too. My mother has lost, or more likely, thrown away two charging cords in the past year. I have used double sided tape to tack I down and I will add a label to the cord so she knows not to move the charger. She just sets it down and waits for the loud notification that her phone is charging. If it doesn’t come within a few seconds, she knows to adjust the phone slightly until it starts charging. I live that I can assist through the caregiver app and help her without having to run over (30 mins away) each time. And it’s so convenient when I am traveling!! I can’t say enough good stuff!! Thank you RAZ for simplifying this process for both of us!

This is the purpose of the No-buttons Rugged Protective Case. This case was created specifically to prevent seniors to accidentally pressing the side buttons and, for example, turning the phone off unintentionally.

The case is very well made. The orange case was enough to convince my dementia patient that it was a new iPhone 17. I like the call limitations, like the # of times he can call a contact and the contacts quiet time. Love no outside phone calls from unknown persons who are not one of his contacts (he only has 4).

This was not a good choice for my dad who has Parkinson’s. We set up the phone and shipped it to him with the case on because he hits the buttons too much, but it arrived as a paperweight because it died in the shipping. Even after he charged it, he could not turn it on without removing the case. He then kept “butt dialing” us when he placed his thumb on the screen. Get the case with the cover, not this one.

Thank you for your feedback. Each senior is different, and some do adapt better to the wallet case, which helps prevent accidental screen taps.
If the phone was shipped to the user while powered on, depending on how long it took to reach its final destination, it’s very possible that the battery ran out. In that case, with the blocking buttons case on, it would be necessary to remove the case to turn the phone back on.
